When someone says "Chinese stibnite" do your eyes glaze over, due to the flood of the "standard" specimens from the Wuling Antimony Mine? Well, this is not from there, which is abundantly obvious I think. Check out these incredible STARBURSTS of crystals, actually closer to something you would expect to see from Romania than from China. A real showpiece, and in person, the crystals have a fine bright gunmetal luster! The largest of the stibnite sprays measures just over 5 cm across. MATRIX stibnites are extremely uncommon and this new mine, which has produced a trickle so far to my understanding, produces an extremely unique form of the species even for China. 13.5 x 11.5 x 9.75 cm
