Several large octahedral SUPERSHARP crystals of acanthite are perched on corroded crystals of the same species. The largest of these crystals is 1.5 cm across. The luster is muted and the crystals are dark gray to black, in color. This is a superb, dramatic specimen, very 3-dimensional!
