Djebel Haminate Mine, Ain Beida, Constantine Province, Algeria
Thumbnail, 0.6 x 0.5 x 0.5 cm
A really stunning, clean and clear, sharp senarmontite octahedral crystal from old finds in the early 1900s in Algeria. Normally these are milky inside and chalky outside but this one is all gem. A top-level single crystal for the species and, except for some minor contact on one face, is pristine. This locality does produce best of species. Ex. Charlie Key.
