A large, GEMMY, translucent, golden-colored Phlogopite Mica crystal is perched nicely in well-trimmed marble matrix, making for great contrast! This is one of the larger and finer examples of these amazing golden mica crystals I have seen come out. What is nice here is that it is perched in matrix where each termination is partly still buried, so you KNOW that the terminations are real and not cleavages (its hard to tell, otherwise, with mica). It is "just" a mica...but a really fine one worthy of any gem crystal collection, I think. 8.6 x 7 x 5.2 cm
