This is a dramatic and really showy example of this common species. At nearly 1 kilogram (2 pounds), it is hefty and impactful in person. This is from a particularly good pocket that came up in 2008, and from which much was sold as "decorator rocks." However, careful sorting found a few choice specimens with good crystals, consistent color, and some aesthetic arrangement amidst most of them that really were just there for the color.
