This rare specimen is from the most famous, and possibly the oldest underground salt mine in the world. It features a sculptural cluster of intergrown, almost transparent cubes of halite measuring up to 1 inch across. The color is a light off-white and the specimen has a satiny or matte finish. It is truly classic for the locality, and very visually impressive as well.
