There were very few specimens of this magnitude in the pocket, and I would say this one is CLEARLY one of the best. Others, who were there at the time, agree. It features the best color, deeper than others here; and crystals to 1.7 cm in length spraying out from a central and protected vug. It is also large, as most specimens from this find were 4 cm and smaller (if of any quality). It is a piece that just GLOWS in a showcase when well lit, and will add a most unusual pink-red color to any collection. Compared to the 1991 material, this holds its own and I think blows away anything found in 1998 for style and overall quality.
