Small Cabinet, 6.5 x 4.4 x 3.6 cm
SOLD
An old-time classic chalcoalumite specimen from the type locality - the Copper Queen Mine at Bisbee. Powder-blue chalcoalumite botryoids richly invest all sides of the vuggy gossan matrix. Chalcoalumite is a rare copper, aluminum sulfate. This is undoubtedly old material, dating from the late 1800s-early 1900s, but no proof. Ex. Dennis Mullane Collection.
