A robust, 1.5 cm, honey-brown Bastnaesite-(Ce) crystal is attractively set on gneiss matrix from recent finds at Zagi Mountain, Pakistan. This pristine, sharp crystal has textbook hexagonal form for this rare cerium carbonate. This crystal has superb color, gemminess, luster, and form. Recent specimens from this find redefine what the average collector can get for the top of the species.
