Jeanbandyite

Jeanbandyite is a rare iron manganese tin hydroxide and a member of the Stottite Group. It forms tetragonal (pseudocubic), brown-orange, aggregates epitaxially grown on wickmanite. It occurs in zones of hydrothermal tin mineralization in a highly altered acid igneous stock associated with wickmanite, fluorapatite, stannite, pyrite, jamesonite, cassiterite, and crandallite at the type locality: Siglo Veinte mine (Siglo XX mine, Twentieth Century mine), Llallagua, Rafael Bustillo Province, Potos
