Premiering the Matioli Rarities Suite

We're excited to be premiering Paulo Matioli's collection of rare fine minerals.

Matioli received his masters in geology from the Geoscience Institute at the University of Sao Paulo and is beginning work on a doctorate in mineralogy under advisor Dr. Daniel Atencio. In addition to participating in the identification of multiple mineral species including Footemineite he also collected the only known sample of Brumadoite and the first specimens of Matiolite, named for him.
