Doubly terminated, dipyramidal, pseudohexagonal crystal of parisite with a rich brown-red, partly gem interior with an adjacent sub-parallel crystal. Approximately 2/3 of the crystals is present since the cluster is contacted on the back. Parisite-(Ce) is a calcium cerium carbonate with fluorine. Good parisite crystals such as this one are not common in the Zagi Mountain area. Incredible color and clarity when backlit, that is highly unusual for such crystals! From old Obodda dealer stock.
