The phosphate minerals from the Rapid Creek area in the Yukon, Canada have gained worldwide fame. This rather large and showy matrix augelite, an aluminum phosphate, features intergrown crystals of glassy, light apple green crystals, some doubly terminated reaching 1.0 cm across. The augelites here are among the best in the world.
