An incredible plate of HUGE and extremely fine crystals of paravauxite! These crystals reach an amazing 2.1cm in length and have the classic pastel green color highlighted by a little iron oxide for nice contrast. Paravauxite is an iron aluminum phosphate hydrate and is the triclinic dimorph of metavauxite. This remarkable plate of large crystals is from the Trimingham collection and would have come out probably in the early 1900s. The crystals are simply huge for the species, on this museum quality display specimen.
