Wulfenite specimens from Tsumeb are rare. Here is an isolated crystal, measuring 1.3 cm along the edge, perched attractively over a greenish, copper-rich matrix. The crystal is complete all around; you can see how its form was modified as it grew around a projection of the matrix, to ensconce the matrix and grow around it. It has a few small contacts and a very, very trivial bit of edge wear but nothing to distract. It has a fine luster, and an amber to butterscotch color. You can see some smaller wulfenites elsewhere on the matrix.
