This is flat-out one of the more colorful specimens, of classical blue scorodite compared to the purpley and darker hues predominant at this locality. Crystals are glassy in luster, SHARP, and reach 9 mm in size. They have mesmerizing reflective faces and complex forms when looked at up close. The value here comes from not just the quality of the crystals, but from the overall impact of intense blue which the piece fields as a whole. Hands-down, this is one of the finest pieces in the lot and if it were from Tsumeb, we'd be talking a 20k price, not less than 10k. Other specimens have larger crystals or a more novel form, but this one is the most classic looking of all here, compared to the old styles. And the color...
