Cuprian Adamite
Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
Small Cabinet, 7.1 x 4.2 x 3.5 cm
The color of this matrix cuproadamite, a lighter-colored but still strong mint-pastel green, suggests it might be from a different pocket than most of the others in this update but we DID see a few of these specimens only, and I suspect they formed at the edges of the pocket as they really are quite distinct, but the odds of two pockets being hit at once are so low I am skeptical. The crystals are glassy and gemmy and reach .2 cm across.
