Most tennantites, lets admit, are lumpy and dark and ugly at first glance. Not so this one! Tetrahedrons of lustrous black tennantite, to 1.5 cm across, are in a really sculptural and 3-dimensional cluster here that makes for an unusually display-worthy specimen. This is an excellent example of a fairly rare ore mineral at Tsumeb.
