A HUGE single crystal of clinozoisite with incredible glassy luster and amazing gemminess considering its size (in person, this is really obvious, especially when backlit!). The termination is fantastic, and intricately formed I nsmall steppes. The luster is killer on both sides. This is a MAJOR piece from a pocket of such monsters that came out perhaps 10 years back. I have seen only 3-4 of them trickle back to sale the last few years. This one is ALMOST a perfect piece...it has a slight indentation due to NOT damage but rather contact with another crystal that it grew against, on the lower-left side. If not for that small visual bend, it would be a 10k piece. As it is, still damned good and a relative bargain for the magnitude of the specimen as a gem crystal.
