This is a much larger, only slightly less gemmy, scapolite crystal - they are extremely rare in such size. The dichroism is less noticeable perhaps due to the thickness of the piece, but the luster and translucence, as well as the baseline deep purple color, is as good as in the previous specimen. RARE in such size, and complete all around!
