A beautiful specimen, but also a cutter! All gem rough! This piece has intrinsic value as a cutter, obviously. Pristine except for a small cleave atop and a very minor bit of edge wear under it, as almost all of these large rhodos have. The first thing you see, though, is COLOR and visual impact of the specimen. The eye does not go to the slight cleave atop, and anyways most large rhodo singles are cleaved thus. This one is extremely fat and gemmy with the juiciest, brightest internal color and clarity you can ask for. It is surely worth AT LEAST this just to cut into gems.
