This remarkable, colorful, dramatic combination specimen was collected by Gilles Haineult and also a surprise to me at the show, in that I had thought all good ones from this pocket long sold. Moreover, I have never had one with such large leifite clusters ON contrasting serandite, nor have I seen such a fine specimen for sale with any dealership. The cluster shown in the closeup is 2.5 cm across! (that view is actually of the back left side of the specimen as shown in the whole photo). I think most people could agree that this particular pocket produced best of species for the mineral in terms of crystal size and aggregate size, and so to have a matrix example of such quality is rather significant.
