This is a hefty specimen with mounded, satiny lustered, charcoal gray, low-profile botryoids of Arsenic covering the entire top of the piece. This is of the quality to rival the old German specimens of Native Arsenic, which have traditionally sold for far higher prices. A large and unusual, botryoidal specimen of solid Native Arsenic that has been apparently built up in several layers of thick growth. This remarkable, not-so-ugly piece is from a single and highly unusual find of pure Arsenic in this historic mine, in the summer of 2013. Although we have seen many specimens from this mine, including fine Orpiment, I had not previously seen pure Native Arsenic.
