A stunning, rich, specimen of classic garnet from this now defunct mine, just vibrant with deep color and glassy luster. This piece is one of the best I have seen for sale in recent years. Note the complex additional stepped faces on many crystals, which result in extra reflection of light and more "sparkle" to the piece overall. In person, the crystals are also much more gemmy and internally vibrant.
