This fascinating wendwilsonite small cabinet specimen features thick dark magenta crystals up to 6mm in length sitting in a vug of calcite crystals partially covered by crusts of heterogenite. This specimen is from the type locality Bou Azzer, Morocco and was in the collection of Dr. Wendell E. Wilson, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Mineralogical Record who the mineral was named after. The specimen has minor bruising on the edges, however, the sawed base allows for excellent viewing.
