Electric-blue, bladed Azurite crystals are thickly bunched in a flower-like growth to form an attractive royal blue rosette from the famous old copper mine, Concepcion del Oro in Mexico. The color is intense and vibrant blue, with dozens of lustrous, thin, bladed to tabular Azurite crystals stacked in almost lamellar aggregates from crystals to a few centimeters in size at the interior down to blades 1 cm in length on the sides of the group. It is somewhat reminiscent of the Azurite roses from Bisbee. It's an aesthetic and colorful old-time specimen from Zacatecas, probably from the 1950s.
