Sprays of Pentagonite are known for their spectacular form, intense color, and good luster. This is an outstanding small miniature "toenail sized" specimen of Pentagonite consisting of a 3.3 cm tall pentagonite "Christmas tree" composed of acicular, transparent, vibrant teal-blue crystals that radiate perpendicularly away from the " tree trunk". Pentagonite is a hydrated vanadium-bearing calcium silicate. This is as fine a Pentagonite toenail as you will find, featuring a spectacular spray of razor-sharp blades that have a gorgeous deep blue color. It glows with electric neon-blue color, and all the elongated crystals are translucent to gemmy. Elongated growths like this, of this size, are uncommon. It is from a find of about 2015-2016.
