Astonishing for the species, this is a sharp, completely gem transparent, colorless Hambergite crystal from the Palelni Mine in Burma, with lustrous, very well-formed, faintly etched and textured prism faces. You rarely see Hambergite from the Burmese pegmatites and this is a great gem thumbnail! Although neither end is terminated, it has sharp prism faces, and for what it is, this is impressive for the sheer quality of the crystal at 5.62 grams. COMPETITIVE LEVEL thumbnail, the likes of which you almost never see for sale, for this species, it can hold its own in any case.
