Spinel-twinned crystals form an impressive cluster of dark-gray, mirror-like galena, accented by needle quartz on this specimen of the rarest and most desirable style from this mine in Bulgaria. The serrated row of twins are amazingly sharp, such that they look machined and man-made almost. The matrix includes sphalerite and pyrite, and the specimen could be displayed in multiple showy angles to highlight the patterning of the 5.5 cm twinned composite crystal depending on lighting and position in a showcase.
