One of the classics of 1990s finds in China were these amazing, unique combinations of lustrous sharp scheelite nestled within gemmy green fluorite crystals, from early finds in Chenzhou. Although tens of thousands of specimens must have come out since, this particular association remained rare, and the best were from the 1990s. This has long been in the Dr Steve Smale collection, since he purchased it in China. It is an extraordinarily beautiful plate with sharp crystals of both species, and good luster and color on both species as well. The larger scheelite is 2.7 cm on edge.
