Seldom do we see clusters of "Arkansas-like" Quartz from Pakistan and this is one jewel of a piece that reminds you of the best of the best of pure Arkansas clear quartz! This small cabinet cluster is composed of nearly a dozen limpid to slightly turbid Quartz crystals from 1 to 7.6 cm in length, in random orientation. One, essentially doubly terminated crystal is reclined horizontally and the the others are growing from it, or around it, in varying near-vertical orientations for great aesthetics. This is from the Shigar Valley in Pakistan, but we don't know if it is pegmatitic in origin or from and alpine cleft, it's classy and gorgeous regardless. From the old dealer stock of Herb Obodda (priced pre-2005 at $350, by the way).
