From a single pocket in the 1960s, these remain to most of us the most aesthetic examples of the species. This is from that find and is a rare matrix specimen with a freestanding 1 cm crystal of veszelyite perfectly perched on a gemmy quartz point. The main crystal is sharp and 360 degrees all around, with nearly pristine condition. Such matrix pieces are rare. This one is exquisite. No other pocket or style comes close to the color and luster of material from this one find, with the sharpest of crystals; and despite recent finds in China and Congo, this is unequaled in the market with contemporary localities.
