Here we have a rich, deep blue Indicolite Tourmaline crystal from a rare pegmatite in Rio Grande do Norte state in Brazil. It is similar to the other one in this update as it displays highly striated and reflective prism faces and a rough, complex termination with numerous, reflective, multiple terminations, reminiscent of the wonderful surface texture of the Ukraine heliodors but a neon blue color. Although it has some slight chatter on the edges, the lovely Indicolite blue color is more vibrant on this one due to its better transparency and there is also significantly more gemmy blue and less dark are than the other crystal we obtained. This crystal glows blue even in only room/ambient lighting! Ex.
