Two criss-crossing lavender Fluorapatites are featured in this attractive thumbnail from from the Molo Village pegmatites in Myanmar (Burma). As in the other two similar thumbnail Fluorapatites in this update, the crystals display an unusual habit for Fluorapatite that looks almost triclinic! The color is a sublime pale lavender and the pair of crystals are totally gem and pristine save a tan colored, clay encrusted area at the intersection of the two. The prism faces are glassy and the pyramidal terminations are steep and wedge-shaped. A really nice and unusual thumbnail from the Burmese pegmatites! 1.32 grams.
