Here is another spectacular gem Zircon crystal from the Mogok Valley Zone of Burma. This thumbnail consists of a pair of sharply formed, elongate prismatic crystals in parallel growth with one measuring 1.9 cm in length and the other 1.35 cm. Like the other Zircons in Bill's collection, this duo displays gem clarity, glassy luster, sublime color and perfection in form. Both amber-pink, completely transparent Zircons have sharp, textbook, tetragonal form and and display perfect terminations. For added aesthetics, the prism faces show subtle, growth hillocks that enhance the appearance of the piece with geometric detail up close. The duo has a mass of 2.38 grams. They also fluoresce a vibrant yellow in short wave UV and a subtle orange in long wave UV.
