Here is a large, rich specimen from a rare German Pyromorphite locality that has been intermittently collected through modern times. Although the mine was closed in the 1800s, collecting on the dump produced many fine specimens such as this one. Dozens of 3 to 5 mm, waxy-green Pyromorphite crystals completely cover a rounded piece of matrix for great displayability! I am told this piece was found prior to the 1970s and I obtained it from an old German collection that was being dispersed at the Munich show in 2010. Rich, pretty, and hefty!
