This remarkable, intact sulfur crystal is one of the largest I am aware of from this famous Bolivian locality on the side of a steaming volcanic vent. It is a 4-inch-long, lemon-yellow, sparkling monstrosity of a crystal, and is highly translucent. Only a few of this size were found, and this was the most pristine of the large crystals we obtained in this size. It is incredibly dramatic on a shelf, and you can see the combination of color and shape from across a room!
