This is an aesthetic Schorl-Quartz combination specimen from the Molo Village pegmatites, for which matrix specimens are uncommonly recovered. It consists of a 5.5 cm striated Schorl Tourmaline displaying striated prism faces and a simple, slightly etched termination. The Tourmaline is graced several, randomly oriented, doubly terminated, clear Quartz crystals a cluster of contrasting white Albite and an incomplete Schorl crystal. Nicely composed!
