First-rate crystal of uncommon Mercurian Tetrahedrite, sometimes called Schwazite after the locality where this variety was first found. This excellent Tetrahedrite is a modified dodecahedron about 1.8 cm across, with a pleasant and uniform iron-grey color and good metallic luster. It rests on a small amount of matrix composed of Quartz, Baryte, and a sprinkling of Cinnabar. One of the better single crystals of Schwazite that I have seen from Austria.
