Cuprian Adamite
Kamariza Mines, Lavrion, Attica, Greece
Miniature, 3.7 x 3.0 x 0.9 cm
SOLD
Copper-induced strong green coloration makes these adamites special, and leap out with about as close to a neon green color as you can get in minerals (well, in the non-uranium minerals, anyhow). This miniature has a bright, open, "happy" color to use gem trade terminology. It stands out. The adamite occurs as a coating on a thin matrix plate. From a remarkable March 2020 pocket.
