- Cuprian Adamite
- Kamariza Mines, Lavrion, Attica, Greece
- Miniature, 5.2 x 5.0 x 3.1 cm
Adamite from this March 2020 pocket in the ancient historic mines of Laurium, is now available in a quality and richness that was almost unthinkable beforehand. This piece has rich color and a good shape to it, presenting sparkly adamites on the whole display face. Compared to others in the lot, although it is very good by any previous standard, it has a little darker color and two toned luster, where some of the spherical aggregates seem to have a coating of a later generation of adamite. In person, this is interesting, but it does make the piece a little less sparkly than others of the pocket.
