This is a fantastic small cabinet specimen from the one-time find in Okorusu, Namibia; the Polish Prodigy Pocket. Only a small number of pieces came from the 2010 find, but they were kept quiet until the first trickle of specimens made it to market in 2017. Nearly-colorless fluorite plays host to crystals with shockingly-sharp violet and royal purple color zones in this nicely balanced example. The prevalence of the zoning is made more evident due to the careful removal of the matrix that these plates were originally attached tom which allows light to penetrate the translucent crystals.
