A very unique Adamite from the Kay Robertson collection, from the classic Ojuela mine in Mexico. Kay had so many interesting and one-of-a-kind pieces and this Adamite is one of them. This Adamite has some particular attributes that set it apart from what we usually see in Adamite such as: large, intergrown, blocky crystals that exhibit an orange-brown tint due to hematite staining, and slightly curved crystal faces. The crystals are up to 2cm across and are arranged in relatively tight cluster with a fine-grained Adamite-Goethite matrix. The Adamite crystals are in excellent condition with no damage. Ex. Kay Robertson collection with label.
