A killer Wulfenite with exquisite subtle color gradations, perched upon a small stalactitic cluster of Dolomite. This Wulfenite displays perfect textbook crystal form as a thick, orange-bronze, tabular crystal with the ideal squarish outline accented by just a touch of Dolomite at the base for perfect composition. The Wulfenite crystal measures 1.4 x 1.4 x 0.5cm with stepped pinacoid terminations and prominent, tapered pyramidal faces. A cluster of tiny, scintillating, saddle-shaped Dolomite crystals comprise the small bit of matrix at the bottom of the piece. Super aesthetic and superb for Tsumeb...or anywhere! Very significant provenance too as it was originally in the Uli Bahmann and Sid Pieters collections. Unusual style, and completely unique to Tsumeb. In person, it is simply mesmerizing. A competitive level thumbnail specimen.
