A very large, attractive and spectacular reticulated Cerussite from Tsumeb - CLASSIC AND IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZABLE! The gemminess, adamantine luster and geometric reticulated growth on this cabinet piece are excellent! There are four major sets of cyclical twins present that are intergrown to form an artistic latticework that is so unique and desirable in these. The twinning is so well developed that the branches crisscross, creating the famous reticulated "snowflakes." The colors in this piece are quite distinctive ranging from a silvery white through silvery gray with a silky sheen to the crystals for a marvelous effect! Contacted on the back and the ends largely out of sight which is common to these robust yet fragile specimens from the 1960s and early 1970s. The display side shows essentially no damage. The aesthetics and quality of this hefty and significant cabinet piece are excellent, making it clear why these are always high on every (Tsumeb) collector's list. This is a particularly dramatic piece in the size and price range, in unusually good condition.
