This is an old, super sculptural, glassy and etched Aquamarine crystal with a gorgeous light sky-blue color Pedra Azul, Brazil. An incredibly complicated crystal, this aqua is mesmerizingly and intricately etched, from a famous find in 2005. This is one of the "ice sculptures," or free-form etched Aquamarines, found in several large kaolinite-filled clay pegmatite pockets in the Pedra Azul district. The piece exhibits an internal brilliance with an exquisite glacier-blue color and is gem from tip to tip with only a slightly turbid area near the base. Simply marvelous! An old classic.
