A stunningly gemmy trio of lavender tinted ice cube of Fluorite from Spain! These Fluorite crystals that are internally flawless and have glassy, perfectly smooth cubic crystal faces! The three crystals are grouped so each of the "cubes" are distinctly apparent. Although Fluorite is isometric with three equal crystallographic axes, the word "cubes" is in quotes because two of the crystals are clearly elongated and one is flattened! All three are completely transparent and the small piece of white to tan Baryte on the bottom can easily be seen through each of the crystals. Octahedral and dodecahedral modifications are only barely perceptible on a couple of corners and edges. Two of the crystals are nearly an inch in maximum dimension and the third is just over an inch. Flipping the piece over, the partial Baryte blade is obvious along with another small, 8mm Fluorite cube. This striking cluster is in excellent condition with only a couple of tiny dings on two edges and one corner of a crystal is compromised on the bottom back essentially out of sight. Contacting on the bottom where the piece was intergrown with other Fluorites and Baryte. Sits perfectly on its own for display. We have seen a lot of these, but never a miniature quite like this. It leaps out to the eye for both shape and (lack of) color!
