A gorgeous example of a rare cesium-rich species, from the famous Mogok gem deposits. Petalite is very rare anyways, and in such sharp crystals, more so. This is a sharp, Champagne-colored, slightly etched gem crystal. It has a very unusual "pointy" termination unlike any we have seen of the species from other localities. Formerly in the collections of Wendell Wilson, Allan Young, and Alex Schauss, before transitioning to Jim Houran who pursued it for the sharp crystal habit for a suite he had built of diverse crystal shapes. It is surely a puzzling thing, and we would all be hard-pressed to guess it if not for the labels!
