Lustrous and translucent rhombs of rose-pink rhodochrosite, to 1.3 cm across, are aesthetically emplaced on a matrix of sugary, white drusy quartz. Very pretty! The color is hard to convey in photos - but it is much more saturated and robust than "the usual" pastel pink color here. The contrast is striking, between the rhodo and the quartz! It is a stunning thumbnail, when seen in person and three-dimensions, and the photos do not convey this well. Complete, pristine all around.
