OUTSTANDING reticulated Cerussite from Tsumeb. The gemminess and adamantine luster are excellent, and the form (reticulated growth due to cyclic twinning) is simply superb. The twinning is so well developed that the branches crisscross, creating the famous latticework that is so unique and desirable. Only very minor damage, hard to see and common to these gracile and fragile items from the 1960s and early 1970s. The aesthetics and quality of this hefty and significant small cab are first-class, making it is clear why these are always high on every collector's list. A display classic, unique in shape and form... this is a dramatic piece at a price that does not break the bank to own.
